Customer Operations Engineer - Mexico
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting and delivering solutions in the telecommunications market. The responsibilities for this role are:
- Participation in pre-shipping installation and system testing work
- Participation in installation and commissioning project planning
- System installation and commissioning work on customer’s sites
- Participation in customer training
- System acceptance testing and handover to customers
- Provision of hardware and software technical support
- Optimisation and troubleshooting of GSM/GPRS/CDMA networks
- Internal reporting and provision of feedback to customer
- Creation and maintenance of Customer Support documentation
Based in our offices in Mexico City, this role will involve extensive international travel. Ideally candidates should possess a high level of spoken and written English, have a relevant degree, 3+ years industry experience and a strong background in the following areas:
- Knowledge and experience of SS7
- Telecommunication and signaling systems including MAP, SMPP, GPRS, INAP
- Knowledge of IP networks
- Real-time/embedded software
- Unix (Solaris, Linux, HP_UX), Perl, shell scripting
