Customer Project Manager

This is a customer facing role, managing the delivery of often large and complex customer projects from development through to final acceptance.

Working as a core part of the Operations team, the role will include:

  • Detailed definition of the scope of the delivery and the project schedule.
  • Communication and negotiation with the end customer
  • Liaison with the System Development and System Testing teams
  • Tracking and reporting project progress against agreed milestones
  • Liaising with the customer’s implementation teams preparing for system rollout
  • Coordination of the required internal activities to ensure projects are delivered on time and budget
  • Participation and coordination of the on site activities up to final acceptance

The ideal candidate will have a strong project management background, preferably within the Mobile Telecomms industry. Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, ideally with some knowledge of the following technologies:

  • SS7 signaling
  • Intelligent Networks
  • Prepaid Systems
  • Messaging (SMS/MMS/etc)

Energy, drive, enthusiasm and initiative are essential qualities for this critical role. Foreign languages would be an advantage.

The role will be based from our Limerick head-office and will involve frequent international travel.
